ARRAY FLOATING BALL VALVE

Array Floating Ball Valve is a kind of control valve, which is one of the main valve products of Array Valves. The body and the bonnet can be bolted connected (BB) and threaded connection (TH). This kind of valve have great strength, aging resistance, good sealing, long service life and etc. High precision of ball machining has equipped with advanced computer detector to track the whole process of detection.


The fine grinding carbon steel ball added with ENP or stainless steel ball can withstand several years of reliable frequently operating. PTFE or enhanced PTFE or other elastic material are often used as seat material which are easy to seal, and sealing force increases by the increase of the medium pressure.


Stem seal is reliable, and there is only the rotary motion on ball valve open-close, so the stem packing is not easily broken.

★ FIRE SAFE DESIGN FEATURES

When the fire breaks out, soft sealing will get combustion gasification under high temperature and loss of sealing and support performance. The sphere drifts from upstream to downstream, so the sphere directly contacts with the second metal seated of the valve body of the downstream under the effect of medium pressure, finally achieves the result that prevent leakages.


★ DESIGN FOR STEM AGAINST BEING BLOW OFF

The stem and the sphere is designed to be T form and it is protected by the bulged parts so that the stem could not blow off under any pressure to get the reliable sealing effect.


★ ANTI-STATIC DEVICE

Anti-static device is mounted on the valve stem. The thrust of anti-static spring promotes anti-static steel ball to have perfect continuously contact with the body and ball which become formation of conductive so that electricity can be transferred. This kind of equipment can avoid charge accumulation because of the friction when the valve switches, which eliminates the fire and explosion danger by the static spark.





★ STRUCTURE DESIGN FOR ELASTIC SEAT

Array's floating ball valve adopts the elastic structure design for the seat. When the medium's pressure is small, the contact surface between seat and ball is small, so it makes a sealing pressure ratio between the ball and seat. This ensure reliable sealing. As the pressure increases, the elasticity of th seat becomes trans-formative, the contact surface increases, and the seat can also resist high pressure without being damaged.


★ AVOID WRONG OPERATION

Ball valve sets the 90° switch with a hole location, and lock can be used if necessary to avoid wrong operation. WHile opening, the marked direction on the top of stem is the same with the direction of handle and pipeline. While shutting, it is vertical with the direction of handle and pipeline.


★ RELIABLE SEALING OF STEM

The stem roughness is controlled by Ra0.8-Ra0.4 in Array Valve so that the flexible graphite powder can turn into the tiny gap on stem which plays a role of lubrication for the stem and also avoid the leakage from the stem. It can achieve good sealing effect if all the roughness of stuffing box is not more than Ra3.2.
